I am a recent graduate from Penn State University with a degree in Advertising/Public Relations and a minor in Digital Media Trends and Analytics. With hands-on experience in digital marketing and advertising, I strive to seize every opportunity to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact. During my time at Penn State, I was an Account Associate for Happy Valley Communications Agency, a non-profit student-run organization. I collaborated with team members to address PR and advertising challenges for real clients. My responsibilities included researching client needs, executing social media outreach, and creating media lists and target personas. Leveraging my photography background, I developed social media content and templates that enhanced client engagement. I was a member of the Advertising and PR Club, where I continually refined my skills and knowledge through networking opportunities. Transition to Human Resources My journey into Human Resources began when I started working as a Recruiting Coordinator. This role, along with others, required effective communication, collaboration with diverse teams, and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics. It was through this experience that I discovered my enjoyment for HR, where I could apply my skills in a new and impactful way. My strong communication and interpersonal skills allowed me to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of an organization. I became adept at conflict resolution and developed a keen understanding of employee relations and organizational behavior. My organizational and multitasking abilities ensured that I could manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently. I also honed my analytical skills, crucial for evaluating HR metrics and making data-driven decisions. These experiences led me to my current role as a Human Resource Coordinator. In this position, I continue to develop my skills and grow in the field I have come to enjoy. I am excited about the opportunity to learn and make a positive impact in HR.
