In Recent Years Heather has been focused on Wellness Lifestyle, focused on whole life non-toxic living. From Biophilic Interiors to Financial Strategy for Wealth Wellness. Every aspect of helping others plan for a well balanced lifestyle now and in the future. As the President of Pivot Furniture; Heather Gallagher brings a varied background of Communication Arts, Residential Interior Design, Hospitality Design, Furniture Design & Creative Art Direction. Heather grew up traveling & living all over the United States giving her a diverse design vision. Her mother was formally educated in Fashion Design & Journalism; naturally giving Heather an early start to her fine art education. Heather’s formal training includes a BS in Graphic Design from North Carolina State University School of Design & a Professional Certification in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising Los Angeles. Heather’s experience in Communication Design focused on Corporate Branding; her training in black & white photography, painting & gallery exhibitions were an integral part of executing her design visions. Heather has worked on projects for non-profit to fortune 500 companies across a multitude of markets from coast to coast. She found herself increasingly intrigued by projects inspired by three-dimensional space, which became the catalyst for her transition into interior & furniture design. Heather was introduced to Lily Jack, a high-end furniture manufacture, many years ago through FIDM. She started to assist them with their trade show events and evolved into their Director of Design, focused on unifying their company branding and new furniture line designs. During this time Heather continued to work for high-end residential design firms on celebrity residences and renowned showcase homes. She transitioned into Cheryl Rowley Design; a Hospitality Design firm that allowed her to work on a full spectrum of dynamic budget conscious & luxury brand hotels. Creative problem solving and idea generation are an integral part of the manufacturing process. Heather’s various experiences have given her both the marketing and client perspectives that are so important to understanding design and manufacturing needs.
