Heather holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she studied the impact of science and technology on health and wellness. With a passion for driving positive social impact, Heather is dedicated to fostering inclusive solutions that empower communities. Heather believes that all children deserve love, support, and acceptance from caring adults while they learn and grow. As a teacher for nearly a decade, Heather carefully curated this nurturing environment in the classroom, by providing her students with a safe space to build relationships, make mistakes, practice healthy communication and interpersonal skills, and develop both confidence and independence.In her current role at Binti, Heather is excited to continue to focus on building strong support systems for children and youth. With a shift in focus towards children and youth experiencing foster care, Heather now partners with states, counties, and private agencies to empower social workers with technology designed to drive workflow efficiency, reduce social worker burnout, and improve outcomes for children and families experiencing foster care.Heather is a local cross-country coach, whitewater raft guide, and mentor to early career professionals. In her free time, Heather enjoys running with her dog, yoga, being outdoors, and relaxing by the water.
