ABOUT HEATHER SPENCE
Through Innovate UK\'s ICURe Exploit programme, I am currently leading the commercialisation of our novel technology which enables us to tackle diseases previously considerable untreatable. Traditional antibodies are targeted, but can not reach inside cells where they need to be. Our solution is IntraCell, a first-in-class drug delivery platform that selectively targets inflamed cells and enables us to bring antibodies into the cell. Our first asset from the platform is our patented antibody, InflamAb, which targets inflammation at its source in disease indications including inflammatory skin disease, glaucoma, atherosclerosis and diabetes.
