I completed 3 + years with Compassus. I found hospice marketing equal parts rewarding & challenging. Much of my role with families involved education. No, hospice doesn\'t mean your loved one will be gone in a few days. Hospice involves redefining goals of care, getting the most from every day, feeling comfortable physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We have patients with us for more than six months and some even graduate from hospice. An interdisciplinary team is comprised of truly amazing people, clinical and non-clinical. The care provided extends through the patient to the whole family. Hospice supports people of all faiths wherever they may be, frequently at home.
