At the Michigan Abolitionist Project we aim to educate, engage and eradicate human trafficking. I am working with current community groups in West Michigan and helping to collaborate with other organizations to grow awareness to, and involvement from, the people of West Michigan-Train and educate on Human Trafficking such as: Law Enforcement, Social Workers, Schools, Medical Professionals, students, senior citizens and the general community-Communications: create monthly newsletters and manage social media accounts-Advocacy: meet with Michigan legislators to discuss current and future laws on human trafficking, train Michigan community on engaging with their leaders and give updates on bills and laws-Plan and execute events-Collaborate with other stakeholders to address vulnerabilities in our communities-Led the Southwest Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force (20••••23)
