I lead a Northern California-based team of Energy Construction professionals to deliver Energy Effective™ programs for education, government, commercial, and industrial clients that advance key financial, environmental and community goals. I am passionate about training and empowering my direct reports to achieve their career goals while helping the company complete profitable Energy Conservation Construction projects.I was inspired by my uncle John T \"Jack\" Hayes Jr to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering because he recognized my math/science skills and my desire to understand how things come together. I was blessed to find an amazing mentor at Cal Poly SLO (Dr. Ray Gordon) who helped me realize my skills in related coursework coincided with HVAC as a career since there will always be a need for human comfort in our built spaces. I lucked into finding a career in the Energy Engineering industry over 20 years ago and I look forward to continuing my journey within the industry as I shape and mold the future energy engineers on my team and within my company.
