As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), and internationally recognized nutrition expert, I bring more than 25 years of experience supporting the health, development, and performance of competitive athletes across all stages of their careers—from youth and junior athletes to collegiate and professional performers.My career has been grounded in evidence-based sports nutrition, with a deep understanding of how nutrition strategy evolves as athletes progress through growth, maturation, training load, and elite competition. I have worked extensively with youth and adolescent athletes, helping establish strong performance foundations while addressing fueling, recovery, growth, and disordered eating risk. At the collegiate and professional levels, I have supported athletes with individualized nutrition programming designed to optimize performance, body composition, durability, and long-term health within demanding training and competition environments.As the owner of a successful private practice, I have supported thousands of athletes and active individuals through individualized counseling, team education, and performance-focused nutrition planning. I am particularly recognized for my expertise in working with athletes experiencing disordered eating and for collaborating closely with families, coaches, medical professionals, and organizations to ensure athlete-centered, developmentally appropriate care.In addition to my applied sports nutrition work, I have extensive experience translating complex nutrition science into practical, actionable strategies. I have collaborated with professional sports organizations, schools, and sports-related companies to develop science-based policies, nutrition tools, and educational resources that support athlete performance, health, and organizational standards. I have also served as a national media spokesperson and trusted voice in sports and performance nutrition, including eight years as a national spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. This experience has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly with athletes, staff, leadership, and media while maintaining scientific integrity and compliance.I am deeply passionate about working within high-performance team environments that value evidence-based practice, collaboration, and athlete well-being.
