About Heather Leung

Behind every successful event with attendees is someone coordinating vendors at 6am, troubleshooting security at noon, and making sure no one knows there was ever a problem. That\'s the work I do, and I love it.My journey in events started in community health, where I learned that creating space for people matters just as much as what happens in that space. I\'ve managed marketing operations for University Heights community center and created social media campaigns to increase youth sport opportunity to improve youth health in Seattle King County always keeping accessibility and community impact at the forefront. My minor in Urban Ecological Design taught me to think intentionally about how spaces affect people. What I bring to event logistics: End-to-end coordination from pre-production through breakdown, staffing and security management, vendor communication and day-of troubleshooting, timeline development and run-of-show execution, stakeholder collaboration across diverse community partners, and creative problem-solving when (not if) things don\'t go according to plan.When I\'m not coordinating events, I\'m usually at dance class, on a volleyball court, or working on some kind of craft project. These keep me grounded and remind me why I love this work. The energy of people coming together and the satisfaction of creating something tangible.I\'m always looking to connect with fellow event professionals, community organizers, and anyone passionate about creating brave spaces where people feel welcomed and inspired.
