About Heather Rhee

Having developed a fervor towards hiking, camping and the great outdoors from a very young age, Heather has always been naturally drawn towards water. Whether it was swimming in a river at Yosemite National Park to scuba diving in the Caribbean by Costa Rica, she has always been interested in the recreational activities that water brings. Unfortunately, scuba diving and plans on purchasing a yacht are not cheap, so she has decided to dedicate her professional career to an industry that fits in with her genuine interests. She has had the opportunity to work with amazing companies and agencies within the water/wastewater industries. She lives in Los Angeles, CA and currently works as a Civil Engineer for the Long Beach Water Department. She is highly motivated to create a strong professional network within the industry and to discuss how California approaches its water resource management, treatment, and distribution. She is passionate about water/wastewater treatment systems and new resource alternatives such as recycled water. She would love to make new professional acquaintances.
