I pride myself on having a clear vision on where to focus a strategy, being able to detect what is truly critical and vital to the drug development process, continuously communicating and collaborating with colleagues and staff, negotiating with regulators, helping the business navigate the guardrails of the regulations, being decisive and driving for business results, and most importantly, being an authentic leader who thrives on the interactions with others. This role in Quality Assurance has afforded me an unbelievable view and understanding of the clinical development process, and rewarded me with the oversight and approval of therapies and medicines across the board that have changed the practice of medicine. I am a firm believer that how we conduct clinical trials needs to be in line with the 21st century and my goal is to promote the use and analysis of data to enable better decision making and quicker action. My sweet spot has been leadership.
