   Assist and support sales partners, branch personnel and customers relative to all aspects of sales, vendor sourcing, transportation, cost management, inventory management and development. • Enter and manage sales orders proactively to ensure accurate and on time delivery of shipments to customers. • Tender shipments to freight carriers while managing cost-to-serve. • Obtain price and availability quotes from suppliers and assist sales in providing quotes to customers. • Issue purchase orders to suppliers, verify order acknowledgement details, and proactively manage purchase orders to ensure on time delivery to API and/or to customers. • Execute system transactions accurately to receive product into inventory. • Monitor inventory consumption and communicate with sales to manage inventory levels. • Resolve customer issues by coordinating with warehouse team, suppliers, sales, and freight carriers. • Assist in researching and resolving problems relative to month-end financial closing. • Assist accounts receivable agent in resolving customer past due invoices. Issue credit, debit and rebills as needed. • Process sales orders in order to issue invoices to customers in a timely manner. • Review supplier invoices for accuracy and process for timely to ensure payment terms are met and discounts are obtained. • Assist with physical inventory of material, parts & machinery. • Utilize third-party sources and customer portals to manage customer orders/billing as required.
