   Serve as the director of a department committed to the retention efforts, student development, and academic success of students. Lead the department, selecting, hiring, and training student engagement assistants and full-time staff. Responsible for a comprehensive seven-day-a-week student engagement plan that includes the advising of the Pitt-Johnstown Program Board, the Student Government Association, leadership development programs, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and providing leadership to the New Student and Transfer Orientation program. Responsible for the ethical stewardship of student fees, overseeing student organizations, and providing community service opportunities. Also responsible for the delivery of the Mountain Cat Express program (buses home), the coordination of major events such as Homecoming and the Mountain Cat Awards for student organizations. In addition, responsible for the weekend activities and retention efforts, the training of clubs and organizations regarding social policies, and the delivery of Title IX programming for clubs and organizations. As a Senior Director on the Student Affairs team, provide support to colleagues and students on the CARE team and assist in on-call rotation. Maintain the social media and content management systems for student organizations, and provide event support to conference services and catering with regard to campus events.
