Worked on the Projects Team to manage oversize, out-of-gauge (OOG), high value, etc. shipments for clients from around the world. Utilized multiple modes of transport to get cargo delivered on schedule. Interfaced directly with clients to meet their requirements, and ensured prompt billing and receipt of funds. Provided quotes to clients to win future business. Successfully prioritized tasks according to urgency and ensured successful completion of all shipments. Proven ability to shift priorities at a moments notice to address issues as they came up. I’m transportation, there are always things that can go wrong that are out of my control. So I learned how to exert the control I had in a strategic way to prevent and account for potential errors/delays that occur outside of my control. Took multiple training courses including: handling dangerous/hazardous cargoes, cargo wise one user training for all operations courses, freight forwarding best practices, and more.
