About Heather Burwell

Heather-Anne Burwell is the Talent Acquisition Manager at ReSource Pro. In her role, she leads the team of US talent acquisition partners, directs talent acquisition strategy, manages full-cycle talent acquisition efforts, and partners across the organization to help grow teams. Heather is also currently a Professor at Bellevue University teaching in their Business Management and Leadership program as well as the People and Business Leadership programs.Prior to joining ReSource Pro Heather worked as Hospital Administrator for MARS Veterinary Health and as a consultant for Gallup. As a consultant, Heather has consulted within the automotive, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, non-profit, and retail industries, as well as clients in government and education. Heather received her bachelor’s degree in business leadership (BLD) and her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership (ML) from the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. She has published several research studies on “Leadership Skills That Lead to Financial Success in the Retail Industry,” “Generations and Interactions in the Workplace,” and “Key Components That Lead to the Success of At-Risk Students.”Heather has been a member of DECA, an international association for marketing students, and has served on the board of directors and as chairperson of the Business Partnership Network. She received recognition as a DECA Award of Merit recipient in 2005 and as an Outstanding Business Partner in 2006. She has also been a member of the Superintendent’s Advisory Committee for Millard Public Schools. In 2008, Heather was named a Rising Star for her strong performance and ability to create transformational relationships with clients at Gallup. Heather is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts having earned both her Gold and Silver award as well as being named 2001 Outstanding Volunteer. While with VCA Animal Hospitals, Heather was given an award for Client Service in 2014 and in 2020, she was given the Next Innovation Award for her creation of an employee assistance fund.Heather is also a classically trained soprano and has performed at Carnegie Hall and at the Vatican in Rome. In 2014, Heather became one of the first Americans to sing in the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican. In 2017, a project she worked on,\"Requiem for My Mother\" peaked at #3 on the Billboard Classical charts and won a Hollywood Music & Media Award. Heather is also a living organ donor.
