I was promoted to the role of weeknight meteorologist in July of 2024. I present the forecast Monday through Friday on KCRA\'s 5, 6, 10 & 11 pm newscasts as well as 4 and 7 pm when needed. I also oversee big picture projects including our annual Wildfire Ready specials and the launch of a new weather graphics package in September, 2025. Before moving to evenings, I was our weather\'s team\'s ultimate \"utility player\"- starting as a full-time weather and climate reporter for a year, then moving up to cover the addition of our 9am hour as well as the noon newscast, and then eventually holding down the crucial weekend morning role for several months. Throughout my time at KCRA, I\'ve prioritized creating clear and meaningful weather content for our tv audience as well as all of KCRA\'s digital platforms. The ultimate goal is to give my viewers the information they need along with thought-provoking and interesting local weather and climate context they won\'t get anywhere else.
