The Chief People Officer is a key member of the executive leadership team at Affinity, responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic HR initiatives and programs in building and maintaining a high performing culture, an engaged workforce and ensuring top talent is available to support the achievement of the credit union’s vision and business strategy. This role works closely with other senior leaders across the organization in overseeing the implementation of business strategies, policies, programs and guidelines that enable the delivery of innovative and functional services in support of a remarkable member experience.The role is accountable for building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline across Affinity and ensuring talent needs today and into the future will be met by equipping employees with the skills and behaviours necessary to work with members in new and evolving ways. This position is responsible for ensuring a positive employee experience and a competitive total rewards program.The role works closely with other senior leaders in order to ensure transparent and respectful people practices support Affinity’s strong employee value proposition and enhance and leverage its brand.
