I believe in an integrity-driven leadership style that focuses on implementing policies and procedures with the employee in mind. As VP of HR, I find my greatest successes come from the balance of business, people operations and employee relations. I work in tandem with other corporate executives to devise and implement people strategy, at the same time as P&L accountability for HR operations at a multi-billion-dollar enterprise. My background in finance grounds me in business management while leading an HR department responsible for over 6500 employees. My success as an effective Vice President of Human Resources stems from being a strategic leader. I have defined and executed a $471M compensation and benefits program and led teams of up to 100+ direct and indirect reports. However, one of my most significant accomplishments has been designing a mentoring program to coach and develop leadership teams to increase employee engagement and higher rates of retention and performance. It is the people that matter. The time I get to spend interacting with others is something I look forward to in my day. Although many people look at my work history and assume I’m a numbers person, working at Republic Airways has allowed me to cultivate my strengths in building effective people strategies. Highlights Total Rewards: Secured buy-in from C-Suite on $20M investment to enhance performance-based rewards and 401(k) programs for front-line associates. Devised and launched a successful campaign that have secured top talent and helped to hire crewmembers in a market with extreme pilot and labor shortages. Directed all activities associated with payroll for corporate and union employees, tax records maintenance and reporting (FICA, FUTA and SUTA)
