Ensure compliance with internal intake and investigative procedures through indirect management of the intake unit and direct review of all cases submitted for closure. Assist staff and supervisors through the investigative process as well as settlement negotiation and conciliation efforts. Ensure investigations are thorough, timely and that all applicable laws were applied correctly when recommending a formal finding. Ensure work is planned appropriately so that Federal contracts are met. Work closely with other executive staff as well as Federal, state and local partners on projects. Conduct training to external organizations. Present topics related to State and Federal anti-discrimination laws including but not limited to anti-harassment, disability/reasonable accommodation, diversity etc. Speak on behalf of the Commission at public events. Train new investigators and provide training to existing staff.Ensure compliance with labor union contracts. Investigate grievances. Participate in local and state-wide meet and discuss sessions.
