About Heather Halsey
I am program manager who has found great success in delivering programs and results that improve customer and or employee engagement. I love taking an idea or identifying a gap and developing creative solutions to drive change. I am fortunate that my professional journey has provided me the opportunity to combine by passions for people, hospitality, travel, marketing, communications and technology to help drive impactful changes that improve the experiences for my customers or fellow employees. Hilton working as a Sr. Events and Sales Manager for two hotels provided me fundamental foundations for program management and engagement. I developed leadership, relationship building and qualifying customer needs skills. It was essential in aiding to developing customized solutions to assist my customers in meeting and exceeding their event goals or solving their problems. I was fortunate to take my hospitality experience and apply it to a newly developed role at Compass Group at Microsoft as Customer Advocate. I enjoyed this role as I was able to use so many marketing and strategic communication tactics to drive impact. It focused on driving customer engagement and research strategy, spearhead customer relations and awareness, identifying sales and growth opportunities, along with building the overall campus participation in the program to drive Microsoft productivity and cost savings. This role has a large presence in the Microsoft Admin and facilities community at the Redmond 50K+ customers and other U.S locations. I further built off my passion for identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience at Oracle as they built their team and 2nd Generation Cloud Solution. During my tenure in OCI I was able to create a variety of programs, processes, and resources used to help drive engagement, communications, and satisfaction as the team quickly grew from 300 employees in Seattle to over 10K across the globe with in 3 years. I find program management work for global companies that is focused on employee and customer relations the most rewarding as you can always see the direct impact to the changes that are implemented. You can also work with a wide variety of people and help solve some complex problems.
