About Heather Ptasznik
I am currently a Shareholder with Ogletree Deakins where I concentrate my practice in representing management in employment law matters. I counsel our clients daily on various matters including hiring, terminations, reductions in force, leaves of absence, FMLA administration, workplace investigations, disability accommodation and wage and hour issues. I further defend our clients in all aspects of employment litigation including claims before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and MDCR, discrimination and harassment claims, enforcement of non-compete covenants, FMLA claims and ADA claims. In the course of providing legal advice and support to our clients, I believe that putting sound, preventive measures in place can assist in reducing potential liabilities. I believe that being proactive helps our clients avoid litigation and statutory violations before incurring devastating fines, costs and being distracted from their core business concerns.
