ABOUT HEATHER PARNHAM BB ON-PREMISE SALES

I have an extensive background with outbound B2B sales, inbound sales and marketing strategies geared towards building brands and furthering a company\'s organic reach. I am also in the process of completing a certification in Project Management (PMP). During the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the opportunity to expand my education by accepting a position within the CBD and Cannabis space, where I worked my way up through sales and marketing to build out a health professional-specific program designed to establish a new pipeline. I was tasked with all day-to-day sales and marketing aspects of the program, from prospecting to client relations, as well as designing and implementing necessary marketing materials. Most of this effort was achieved while working remotely during the pandemic while maintaining consistent sales growth month over month. For several years before joining the Cannabis space I was part of the California based wine and alcohol industry. I had been tasked with designing and implementing a dynamic revamp of the strategic sales model within Southern California territory and team. By changing the company motivation within the territory and putting a strong focus on account relationships and consistency, I saw consistent and exponential growth year over year, while replacing 85% commodity liquor sales with healthy revenue-producing skus. I have immersed myself for the past 10+ years in account sales management: DTC, B2B sales, team management, and distribution within the consumable industries (CBD, Cannabis, Wine, Beer, and Spirits). I bring to the table a background of 15+ years working in full-service restaurants and upper-level hospitality; from the basics of hosting and serving, Beverage Program development and new concept openings, staff education and accountability, to upper management day to day tasks: P&L forecasting/maintenance, hiring, payroll, inventory management, etc. My first position in the wine industry was working for a small importer in San Diego, CA selling wine, by phone call, direct to consumers; which led to hosting public tastings at prestigious Food and Wine Festivals nationwide and lead me to realize that it was the industry I was meant to be a part of. I loved the fact that each day in the alcohol industry is different, you never know what is going to be thrown at you and you must be prepared for that. I have been fortunate that I am great with people, am organized and multi-tasking is a breeze. I think these are traits that everyone needs in life, but that few people actually possess.
