About Heather Nold

Heather leads the HDR Montana Bozeman Young Professionals Chapter and started the Bozeman Women\'s Engineering (WE) Group. She is passionate about emerging issues in the industry and the intersection of local and federal policy. She is an active member in her community and invested in communicating the importance of healthy floodplains, riverine systems, and effective infrastructure. Heather has 3 years performing hydrologic and hydraulic investigations, designs, and construction oversight projects in Montana and throughout the country. She has experience designing riverine systems, assisting in stormwater MS4 program management, obtaining permits, drafting construction documents, overseeing construction activities, updating FEMA maps, preparing specifications, and creating informative layouts in ArcPro in ArcMap. Her hydraulic analyses have consisted of 1,2,3-dimensional modeling to examine river mechanics, floodplain connectivity, and fish passage/barrier designs.
