Teaching Introduction to Folklore (Anth. 110) incorporating both partnering and constructivist pedagogy. In this course we examine folklore texts and objects from various cultures and traditions, both around the globe and close to home. Students actively use technology and group work in class helping them to build an understanding of folklore. Students are also tasked with uncovering and archiving folklore in their everyday lives from the folk groups they live in and encounter.
