About Heather MacKey

Heather Mackey was born and raised in Florence, S.C. and is proud to be a life-long resident of the south. Mackey graduated from Clemson University with a degree in marketing and started a career in sales as a pharmaceutical rep. During her three years working in sales, she learned the key to being successful is forming relationships based on trust and open communication.She moved to Charlotte in 2001 bought a home in the beautiful Myers Park neighborhood. Immediately she fell in love with the Queen City and the charm of its surrounding historic neighborhoods. In 2004 Mackey had her first child and spent the next four years at home with her three beautiful daughters. In 2008, she combined her background in marketing & sales with her passion for home design, and became a licensed real estate agent in North Carolina and South Carolina. She started her career at Marilyn Hartley Realty, where she quickly climbed the ranks and became a top producer at the firm. She joined Dickens Mitchener in 2011 and is consistently one of the firm’s top producing agents.Mackey has a very strong knowledge of the Myers Park, Eastover, Dilworth, Foxcroft, Cotswold, Elizabeth, Barclay Downs and Plaza Midwood neighborhoods. She understands the key roles that communication and strategic promotion play when it comes to creating a smooth transaction. Mackey believes that buying and selling a home is a personal experience and that it is imperative to pay great attention to detail when it comes to understanding her clients’ wants and needs. With a foundation of teamwork, she forms relationships based on honesty and trust. “When it comes to real estate, I build relationships one client at a time and definitely take a quality versus quantity approach,” explains Mackey.Mackey now lives in the Dilworth neighborhood, where she is raising her three girls.
