About Heather M. Colvin

Heather is charged with advancing the adoption and global harmonization of innovative evidence approaches including real-world evidence, patient input, and improving the inclusivity in clinical evidence. Throughout her career, she has driven policy research and implementation activities focused on improving patient outcomes through advances in evidence development. She partners with thought-leaders from diverse stakeholder groups –regulators, patients, industry, payers and clinicians – to develop pragmatic policy recommendations to modernize regulatory science. Heather is an experienced health policy leader. Past work has included a broad range of complex policy issues such as international and refugee health, public health program design, federal workforce resilience programs, and health care quality measurement.
