ABOUT HEATHER LOGAN
As a Surgical Design Simulationist at the Institute for Reconstructive Sciences in Medicine (iRSM), I apply my skills and knowledge in computer-aided design (CAD) and additive manufacturing (AM) to plan and optimize surgical procedures for patients with complex conditions. I have been working in this field for over 15 years, and I hold a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Alberta. My mission is to improve the quality of life and function of patients by using advanced digital technologies to create personalized and precise surgical solutions. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, clinicians, and researchers to simulate realistic and effective surgical outcomes. I also collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify the challenges and opportunities for innovation.
