ABOUT HEATHER LIGUS
Heather Ligus is the program manager for network operations for the University Hospitals Quality Care Network. She specializes in building and maintaining the system’s clinically integrated network which she has helped develop into one of the largest clinically integrated networks in the United States. Her efforts focus on working with various stakeholders on enhancing quality and efficiency while reducing the overall cost of healthcare.Heather is passionate about serving the community. Her volunteer activities include organizations like the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, and American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign. She has held board leadership roles with Parma Rotary (board secretary) and Westside Healthcare Organization.She received her master’s degree in healthcare administration from Baldwin Wallace University in 2013 and graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology. Heather is also a graduate of the 2015 Cleveland Leadership Center’s Bridge Builders program.Heather lives in Brunswick with her husband, Steve, and their senior Chihuahua, Birdie. She is an avid athlete, and enjoys travel and theater.
