ABOUT HEATHER KLUEMPER
As CEO and Co-Founder of Centered Care of Michigan, I lead a passionate team dedicated to providing person-centered rehabilitation and skilled private duty for individuals with traumatic brain injuries and complex medical needs. Both adult and pediatrics. With over 3 decades in nursing and healthcare leadership, I specialize in building programs that prioritize dignity, clinical excellence, and compassionate support. Before co-founding Centered Care in 2021, I served as Director of Nursing for Optimal Medical Staffing, gaining deep experience in managing care teams and supporting medically complex populations. I’m a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) and active advocate and/or board member of many Michigan’s healthcare space, including work with the Children’s Palliative Care Coalition of Michigan, BIAMI, CPAN and many other advocacy groups. Our organization holds Joint Commission, CARF accreditations, And has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. I’m proud to have helped establish an outstanding Neuro Rehabilitation Program that has 4 locations. Centered Care now offers outpatient therapy programs focused on long-term recovery and functional independence. I believe the best care happens when we listen first, lead with heart, and empower people to heal in their own way.
