About Heather Graham Lewis
Working to leave things better than I found them, each day. 35+ years in architectural practice, with over 32 years in healthcare design and planning specialty. I enjoy all aspects of healthcare design, from programming and space planning, working through the design and equipment layouts with the stakeholders, detailing, working with the contractors, and seeing the completed project in use. I have learned a lot from post-occupancy walk throughs, and I even enjoy the code research. It was thrilling to have a part in improving the built environment at the Michigan Medicine, where I have deep family roots. I got to see both of my grandfathers\' medical school class photos and my great-grandfather\'s class photo when I walk through the University of Michigan Medical Center. I became the Life Safety Code, Joint Commission and Behavioral Health go-to person. Peace and health to you!
