The position of Technical Director EMEA is a member of the Performance Chemicals leadership team, reporting to the Global Technical Director, and I am responsible for leading R&D labs located in the EMEA region. The responsibility includes R&D new product innovation and sales support, as well as product application development, and process development for the Performance Chemicals business, including Personal Care, Home Care, Agrochemicals, Mining and Industrial.• Collaborate with Marketing & Sales to identify strategic technology trends and focus areas for technology development and future products. • Coordinate joint development activities and other projects with outside Raw Material Suppliers, Universities, Technical Organisations, and Contract Research firms. • Continually source and evaluates new business opportunities. • Explore and implement novel approaches to current product development problems. • Provide technical assessments for use by Company executives. • Identify and champion continuous improvement opportunities for the technical and manufacturing organisation.• Lead the identification and development of technology platforms in Europe.
