ABOUT HEATHER GEORGE
As a senior leader in the not-for-profit arts culture and heritage sector I work with community organizations, cultural institutions and educational facilities to promote and preserve local knowledge. Through my specialized skill set my current projects focus on facilitating dialogue between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities in museums. My PhD research aims to look at the history of Haudenosaunee museology as a reflection of cultural, social and political beliefs and actions.
