Part of the Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging programme (SSPP). • Manage a diverse portfolio of funded programmes including the £8M interdisciplinary Enabling Research cohort programme, comprising 10 university-led projects aimed at finding solutions to existing issues with the design and end-of-life management of plastic packaging. • Oversee international innovation programmes (GBIP and GEMs), identifying and supporting a cohort of innovative SMEs in the cleantech and sustainability sectors. • Experienced stakeholder engagement and management - To drive, develop and manage current and future investments. • Lead IUK engagement with the Plastic Pollution Agenda Setting Fellow and UN plastic treaty. Helping to shape strategic interventions for the UK, supporting new approaches and non-standard solutions.
