As a Licensed Assisted Living Administrator with more than 20 years of experience in human services and healthcare, I have dedicated my career to building high-quality residential and community-based programs that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since entering the field in 2004 and serving in senior executive leadership since 2015, I have focused on operational excellence, strategic growth, regulatory compliance, and mission-driven outcomes.I hold credentials as a Registered Medication Aide (RMA) and am both UAI Certified and ISP Certified, bringing strong clinical knowledge alongside executive leadership expertise.Throughout my career, I have led large-scale system transformations and expansions, including:• Coordinating the privatization of three group homes from Hanover County into Good Neighbor ownership• Coordinating the privatization of two group homes from Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services Board into Good Neighbor ownership• Leading the opening of a specialized group home for Arlington County serving individuals formerly residing at NVTC• Managing the ownership transition of a private I/DD provider operating five residential locations and a Day Support program in Fairfax, VA• Opening three high-acuity residential homes awarded through an RFP process for individuals with severe behavioral needs and those previously placed out of state• Coordinating and implementing the opening of 46 residential locations, 3 Day Support programs, and Community Engagement and Community Coaching services (2008–2021)• Successfully placing more than 600 individuals into congregate residential settings over 14 years• Leading the transition of over 160 individuals from state training centers into community-based residential settings following the 2011–2019 DOJ settlement• Opening 21 specialized residential locations specifically designed for individuals transitioning from training centersMy leadership philosophy centers on servant leadership, operational discipline, and building teams that deliver person-centered care with dignity and accountability.
