ABOUT HEATH KING
My role within the Governmental Services Department at NACOLG challenges me to meet the various needs of our 37 member governments, as well as utility boards, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and other difference-makers throughout NACOLG’s 5-county region of NW Alabama. Most often, this requires an ability to develop and administer grant-funded projects. In my role, I aggressively pursue grant funds and resources which strengthen our region’s ability to compete with any in the state. The foundation for success is built on relationships, accountability and trust, three virtues which I value most of all. In my experience, a project built upon those key values, and guided by adaptability, concise communication, and hard-work, will be a success more times than not.
