I lead global AI Governance, reporting directly to the C-suite. Mastercard\'s AI Governance program is a world leader. We\'re committed to Defining, Ensuring, Enabling and Advancing Responsible AI.Some of our many activities include- Writing Enterprise AI Policy, Standards and Guidance- Creating and implementing governance frameworks and processes, tools and automation. We review more than 400 products a year. We identify and mitigate AI efficacy, fairness and transparency risks- Development partnerships that empower teams to develop AI responsibly. This includes partnerships with developers, researchers, policy and product leaders, communicators and leaders. Some of our many outputs include bias testing tools and datasets, ROI/target-setting support tools, transparency artifacts and published research- Engagement with the RAI community, regulators, policymakers and more. I lead AI Governance at Mastercard.My program writes AI policy, standards and guidance. We look at every AI system that Mastercard builds and buys, and we ensure that those systems are fair, effective and transparent. We sponsor research to advance RAI, develop tools and training, and engage with regulators and policymakers. I lead a brilliant, multidisciplinary team.In my prior work as an R&D leader, I\'ve launched novel solutions into the backbone of global payments infrastructure, securing payments and generating $10MMs annually. I\'m listed as an inventor on 40+ US Patent filings. I serve on the ISO AI standards subcommittee, and have written 3 technical guides on AI. I started my career as a data scientist in video games.
