ABOUT HEALA MAUDOODI

I recently obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, HBSc in neuroscience and psychology. I am currently enrolled in the Masters of Psychology program at York University, primarily focusing on cognitive development and neuropsychology. I have conducted multiple research projects with a focus on various areas of research. I recently completed my thesis project of which I investigated the experimental conditions in the animal rodent model using under which conditioned inhibition develops and the neural substrates that are activated using immunhistochemistry and immediate early gene cFos a neuronal marker. Prior to this project, I completed a supervised study partnered with ManyBabies, focusing on the social and moral evaluation of infants. As well as, working as a research assistant at the LiMBiC and BEE laboratory situated at the University of Toronto and Ryerson University. I currently hold a position as a residential crisis worker at CMHA and a teaching assistant position at York University. I aspire to further advance my education by obtaining my Psy.M. and continue to expand my expertise and knowledge in neuropsychology and the mental health field.
