Heather Benoit doesn’t just imagine better futures, she architects them. A systems thinker with a bias for action, she operates at the intersection of strategy, design, and foresight to challenge assumptions, expose what’s not working, and rebuild smarter, more intentional models for what could be. She’s known for taking on complex, messy problems—whether in healthcare, local government, or tech—and translating them into elegant, actionable concepts that spark paradigm shifts.Heather is currently the Director of Foresight and Innovation Design at Langrand, where she helps organizations see further, think deeper, and reimagine the possible. Previously, she served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Foresight at SGR, helping cities across the U.S. grapple with the future of public services, infrastructure, and civic trust. Her past also includes leading tech foresight at M3 Design, pioneering medical innovations as a mechanical engineer, and dabbling in various start-ups and side projects.Across her career, she’s moved fluidly from surgical devices to policy disruption, from product design to strategy decks, always grounded in the belief that real innovation is not just about what’s possible, but about what’s better. Heather holds degrees in Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Baylor University, an MBA from Quantic, and a Master’s in Strategic Foresight from the University of Houston.
