He is the founder of H. Davis Cole & Associates, created in 2006 after serving several years with international, national and local engineering firms.Mr. Cole possesses specialized expertise in the mechanical and process design of municipal wastewater treatment plants, specifically for the City of Kenner, LA; Jefferson Parish, LA; and the City of Slidell, LA. He has provided mechanical and process design services for wastewater treatment plants of all sizes and types throughout Southeast Louisiana. Mr. Cole is an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and served two (2) years as a Member (ACEC representative) of the East Baton Rouge City-Parish Engineer Selection Board. He also previously served as Chairman of the State of Louisiana Facilities Planning and Control Engineer Selection Board (2007 to 2009) as the ACEC representative. Mr. Cole currently serves as the Past President and Member of the Board of Directors for the Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana. Mr. Cole is also the President and a Founding Board Member of the Epilepsy Alliance America. He was appointed as a Commissioner of the Louisiana Naval War Memorial Commission by Governor John Bel Edwards in February 2020. In 2024, Mr. Cole was appointed by Mayor LaToya Cantrell as a Board Member of the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO). In this position, he oversees the operation of one of the state\'s largest water, drainage, and sewage utilities. Mr. Cole is a native of Catahoula Parish, Louisiana and attended Harrisonburg Junior High School and Huntington School in Ferriday, LA. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University. Mr Cole is also a 2019 graduate of the Baton Rouge Leadership Academy.
