ABOUT JACKIE CHEUNG
Jackie is an experienced sustainable investment leader with deep expertise in the areas of corporate governance, shareholder rights, shareholder activism, M&A transaction approvals, and shareholder sensitive executive compensation matters. Previous to joining the buy-side, he built and led several governance advisory and activist defense teams at leading Canadian and global activism advisors, including at a Canadian specialist firm where he was a founding member. In these roles, Jackie routinely advised boards and management teams of public issuers large and small, and across all sectors within the Canadian, U.S. and Latin American markets on all matters related to corporate governance and ESG. After a decade of advising public issuers, including on some of the most significant shareholder activism mandates in Canada, Jackie transitioned in-house with TD Asset Management’s Sustainable Investment team to co-lead its global stewardship program, executing on the firm\'s proxy voting and engagement priorities.
