About Charles Hodges

I served in the US Army for 27 years on active duty as Infantryman Officer with my last assignment as the Base Commander of Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington State. After transitioning, I was planning to use my experience to enter into the City/County Management field. However, during my last two years in the Army I become actively involved in Military Transition Services and met the Team at the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation\'s Hiring Our Heroes. The work they were doing inspired me and when they offered me the opportunity to join the team I jumped on it. After working there for four incredible years as both Senior Director of Events and Programs and Executive Director I was offered an opportunity with TransForce Group\'s Education and Training Division as their Chief Operating Officer. After two year\'s in that role, I was promoted to President of the Division. What keeps me motivated the most is being able to make a difference and positively impact the lives of other people, my community and nation. I have to be part of something I believe in and can have fun doing. I like any challenge, that requires creativity, hard work and the opportunity to work with inspired people.
