ABOUT CARLOS L.

I am an OutSystems Enterprise Architect and OutSystems MVP with a strong focus on designing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.Over the years, my work has centred on architecture, governance, integration, and long-term sustainability on the OutSystems platform. More recently, this naturally evolved into a deep interest in how AI capabilities can be applied responsibly and effectively within enterprise architectures.I am currently completing a Business Analysis apprenticeship focused on AI for Business Value (Multiverse). As part of this, I dedicate significant hands-on time to experimenting with OutSystems OS11 and ODC AI capabilities, including: • Out-of-the-box AI features • Agentic patterns • Workflow-driven AI and automationMy goal is not AI for its own sake, but to identify where AI genuinely delivers business value, where it does not, and how it can be embedded safely and incrementally into enterprise-grade OutSystems applications.Alongside my technical work, I actively support the OutSystems community through: • Organising and leading the London OutSystems User Group • Sharing real-world architecture and AI learnings • Mentoring developers (mostly internal) • Providing actionable product feedback (Starting on 2026)I believe the real value of AI lies at the intersection of architecture, process, and business outcomes and that is where I focus my contribution.
