   As Software QA Analyst on First Citizen\'s quality assurance team, I work both independently and collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure that mission-critical applications and feature updates are tested and validated prior to enterprise deployment. As much as this role involves the direct testing of software applications, it also involves working with said stakeholders to understand their business and system requirements, advise on test strategy and execution, and act as a general resource for any QA-related needs they may have. Current responsibilities in this role include:+ Software testing using ALM (aka HP Quality Center) to track and log defects+ Writing and optimizing test cases with a QA-focused methodology for clear and thorough executions+ Tracking and reporting defects throughout the SDLC process from detection to resolution+ Analyzing system and business requirements to ensure proper coverage from QA test efforts+ Optimizing manual test cases for automated regression and performance testing+ Providing software demos and status updates to various stakeholders inside and outside of the QA team.
