About Howard Blumenthal
My best-known work is Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, which I co-created and produced for PBS (public television in the U.S.)Nowadays, my keen interest is in growing up in the 21st century-what children and teenagers learn, and how they learn; global citizenship; social change; and the roles of media and technology. Basically, this is all about sustainable progress. My focus is always big picture, often involves public good, large-scale behavioral change, and international relationships. My lifelong interest connects play, fun and imagination with curiosity as primary drivers for learning.
