ABOUT HAZEL WARD

With over 30 years experience in the industry, I have been involved in all aspects of Event Management from the research and conception of programmes, negotiating and management of supplier contracts to the final delivery of the events on site, including the management of significant budgets. This has often included working in teams of various sizes often with other event and production agencies – sometimes as part of the lead agency sometimes not. These events have been based both in the UK and overseas and have included driving events, both road and track based, conferences of all sizes and complexity, incentive programmes, award ceremonies, product launches, team building activities, seminars, exhibitions and Motor Shows. I was also lucky enough to work on the London Olympics as Transport Manager for UPS as well as on the Sports Personality of the Year Show. I have now moved from delivering events directly for our clients to an Operations role to assist the wider Events team at BI WORLDWIDE in running their event projects.
