ABOUT HAZEL LIETZ
I am a current Biology major with certificates in Biocore, German, and Leadership. I’m passionate about the intersection between science and human connection, and I’m currently on the pre-med track. Outside of classes, I’m currently serving as the president of the Panhellenic Association, the governing body of the Panhellenic sororities which holds over 3,500 students. I also am an active member in the student leadership program, where I taught leadership workshops. Finally, I work as a nurses assistant at Northshore Hospital over my breaks and work as an undergraduate researcher in the Hryckowian Lab, studying host cell interactions in the gut microbiome.
