I am the Owner and President of CAPTivate Gymnastics, a gymnastics club for adults, with programs running in Calgary, Edmonton, Canmore, Yellowknife, Airdrie, Okotoks, St. Albert, Fort Saskatchewan, and more! This small business has doubled in size every year since its inception (despite the worldwide pandemic), and we now welcome 250 adult gymnasts and 20+ coaches every 3-month session. Each of our adult gymnastics teams trains weekly at a host gym club with nationally certified and highly experienced coaches. Our teams are non-competitive, all-levels, ages 16+ and co-ed. We are a member of the Alberta Gymnastics Federation and Gymnastics Canada. As a small business owner, my roles include budgeting, cashflow, payroll, marketing, social media, website creation, graphic design, administration, human resources, taxes, insurance and liability.
