As the Higher Education Manager I lead on Higher Education matters. This includes maintaining and developing the current HE provider relationships using targeted communications and ensuring a high level of customer service. I produce industry briefings for staff members and key stakeholders, undertake due diligence research and institutional verification for the accreditation team. Working with the CEO and Senior Management Team, I contribute towards business development and source opportunities for BAC to fulfill its charitable objectives of raising standards, both in the UK and overseas.I also am the lead on all BAC memberships; ensuring BAC meets the membership requirements of those organisations. For the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) this involves working across all departments to produce self assessment reports on BAC\'s compliance with the European Standards and Guidelines (ESGs), coordinate activities relating to external reviews and represent the agency at ENQA forums and seminars. For BAC\'s inclusion on the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) I am the lead staff contact and ensure BAC\'s quality assurance activities in Higher Education are accurate, ensuring that we remain compliant with the ESGs, for which EQAR is responsible. As the BAC member for the European Commission funded \'DEQAR\' project I continue to meet the agency\'s obligation to spread best practice by ensuring that information on BAC accredited institutions is clear, transparent and available to view on the central database, hosted by EQAR.Previously I supported the Council for Validating Universities, for whom BAC has a secretariat function. My responsibilities included supporting the charity\'s executive committee producing committee papers, writing website content as well as providing event management services for seminars, events and the annual conference.
