About Hayley Mahan

In September 2017, I became a full-time employee at Senior Whole Health as a Provider Relations Specialist. I have been responsible for a full range of provider relations within the company. This includes assisting and servicing all designated providers in our network, which encompasses assisting and servicing providers to resolve operational and credentialing issues, ensuring accuracy of provider data, contributing towards network development efforts and acting as a dedicated resource to internal and external customers. Through this experience I have continued to enhance my customer service skills, critical thinking, and problem solving ability. Prior to my position at Senior Whole Health I spent two summers directing ACME JR Summer Camp. As a director, I was responsible for 40 children and lead a team of 10 staff members. Additionally, I planned daily activities, organized weekly staff meetings, and booked performers. Working as a director strengthened my leadership, teamwork and creativity abilities. During my four years at UMass Dartmouth I became interested and aware of issues involving global warming and unsustainable practices. My concern with these issues motivated me to declare a minor in Sustainability alongside my Operations Management major. My goal is to channel my professional skill set and educational background into a career in Sustainability.

   Supports a team of Contract Specialists in the acquisition of goods, services, and construction for Laboratory research programs. Duties and responsibilities span from pre-contract award steps through post award contract administration. Assists with the development of RFP documents, process change orders and small dollar POs (micro purchases), input new /update vendor information into SAP, and compiles appropriate documentation to support internal and Government reviews for the procurement.
