About Hayley Kalb
As a Technical Program Manager on Mastercard\'s AI and Data Operations team, I work at the intersection of AI, data platforms, and enterprise execution, helping teams translate complex technology into clear and actionable outcomes.I partner with product, engineering, data, governance, and security teams to drive delivery of AI and data use cases, ensuring our platforms, tooling and data availability support the production of innovative AI solutions. Much of my work centers on communicating existing AI and data capabilities, clarifying platform constraints, and helping teams understand what’s possible today, and what will be possible in the future. Prior to joining Mastercard, I completed my Bachelor\'s of Science in Business Administration at Washington University in St. Louis. My academic background is in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and this informs how I help bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders by translating AI and data platform concepts into language that drives awareness and adoption of cloud AI platforms. This perspective also informs how I support change management efforts, particularly as data platforms, operating models, and ways of working evolve with the availability of new technologies.I am also deeply interested in responsible innovation, which is reflected in my academic work. I completed a minor in the Business of Social Impact at Washington University in St. Louis, an interdisciplinary program focused on using business and entrepreneurial tools to drive positive social change. I also worked as a Communications Assistant at the Social Policy Institute (Center for Social Development), where I helped translate policy and social impact research for broader audiences. In parallel, I researched social entrepreneurship and innovation through coursework and engagement with WashU’s Social Entrepreneurship & Innovation Lab, which focuses on community‑centered, impact‑driven ventures.Across both my academic and professional work, I’m motivated by a consistent theme: using technology, data, and communication to create systems that are not only scalable, but equitable, understandable, and impactful.
